The Children

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray and confess Your Word over my children and surround them with my faith - faith in Your Word that You watch over it to perform it! I confess and believe that my children are disciples of Christ taught of the Lord and obedient to Your will. Great is the peace and undisturbed composure of my children, because You, God, contend with that which contends with my children, and You give them safety and ease them.

Father, You will perfect that which concerns me. I commit and cast the care of my children once and for all over on you, Father. They are in Your hands, and I am positively persuaded that You are able to guard and keep that which I have committed to You. You are more than enough!

I confess that my children obey their parents in the Lord as His representatives, because this is just and right. My children honor, esteem, and value as precious their parents; for this is the first commandment with a promise: that all may be well with my children and that they may live long on the earth. I believe and confess that my children choose life and love You, Lord, obey Your voice, and cling to You; for You are their life and the length of their days. Therefore, my children are the head and not the tail, and shall be above only and not beneath. They are blessed when they come in and when they go out.

I believe and confess that You give Your angels charge over my children to accompany and defend and preserve them in all their ways. You, Lord, are their refuge and fortress. You are their glory and the lifter of their heads.

As parents, we will not provoke, irritate, or fret our children. We will not be hard on them or harass them, or cause them to become discouraged, sullen, or morose, or feel inferior and frustrated. We will not break or wound their spirits, but we will rear them tenderly in the training, discipline, counsel, and admonition of the Lord. We will train them in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it.

O Lord, my Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on or above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and the avenger. I sing praise to Your name, O Most High. The enemy is turned back from my children in the name of Jesus! They increase in wisdom and in favor with God and man. Amen.

The Law of Confession -   Making the Connection

2 Kings 4: 1- 7

A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be slaves.” So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house? And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” Then he said, “Go borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors, all empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her: and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

God gave her something to do with her hands. The Word of God has always said that He would bless the working of your hands. Proper understanding of this will help your confession work for you. You must have corresponding actions with your confession.

Let me encourage you when you get dressed today to look in the mirror and say, "I am united to the Lord and I have become one spirit with Him. Body, everywhere you go today...God goes. God is in you. The power of God is in you. The wisdom of God is in you. The victory of God is in you."

Luke 4: 16 – 19

So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath has sent Me to heal the broken hearted. To proclaim liberty (to set free) to the captives (people held in bondage) and the recovery of sight to the blind. To set at liberty those who are oppressed (by the devil): to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

Acceptable year is the year of release from the worlds system and the entrance into the Kingdom of God. Then you will be able to say “for such a time as time.”

Matthew 12: 33- 37

Either make the tree good and it fruit good, or else make the tree bad and it fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure (of the heart) brings forth evil things. But I say to you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account of it in the Day of Judgment (here on the earth). For by your words you will be justified, and by your words shall you be condemned.

Please understand that the Lord is not talking about His Word here. He is talking about you and the words you allow to come out of your mouth. There is power in your words. Your words have creative power in them. This is why you, as a human being, were created in the image of God. You are another speaking spirit. As God said and it was so, you have the ability to do the same thing as His man here on the earth.

Matthew 15:12, 13

Then His disciples came out and said to Him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly father has not planted will be uprooted.”
